Each season has two ranked splits. At a split and at the start of a new season your rank drops back down the ladder, so most players replay the lower tiers before they reach their old rank. Season badges and rewards are based on the highest rank you reached that season, so they are locked in once the season ends.
Before the season ends
- Reach your target rank before the split ends: rewards count your highest rank of the season.
- Finish the battle pass levels you paid for; unclaimed tiers do not carry over.
- Complete any badges you want from this season, such as kill and damage badges.
- Spend crafting metals on items that leave the store at season end.
