What we know so far

GTA 6 launches on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on 19 November 2026, after two delays: from autumn 2025 to 26 May 2026, then to 19 November 2026. Pre-orders opened on 25 June 2026. The Standard Edition is $79.99 and the Ultimate Edition, which adds in-game vehicles, weapons and clothing, is $99.99; every pre-order includes the Vintage Vice City Pack. Boxed copies hold a download code rather than a disc, and pre-loading opens on 12 November. Rockstar has not announced a PC version. BoostingXP will add GTA 6 services after launch; join the waitlist to hear first.

Before launch

  • Pick an edition: Standard ($79.99) or Ultimate ($99.99), which adds in-game vehicles, weapons and clothing.
  • Pre-order if you want the Vintage Vice City Pack: every pre-order includes it.
  • Check your console: GTA 6 is on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S only. There is no PS4, Xbox One or PC version announced.
  • Pre-load from 12 November so you can play at launch instead of waiting on the download.
  • A boxed copy is a download code, not a disc, so it needs the same download and storage space as a digital one.

When does GTA 6 come out?

GTA 6 is scheduled for 19 November 2026, the date Rockstar Games has announced.

Does BoostingXP offer GTA 6 boosting?

Not yet. BoostingXP adds services for a game once it is out and there is something worth boosting; you can join the waitlist on the store page to hear first.

Is GTA 6 coming to PC?

Rockstar has not announced a PC version or date. At launch GTA 6 is on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S only. Rockstar's last two games reached PC later: GTA V about 19 months after consoles, Red Dead Redemption 2 about a year after.

How much does GTA 6 cost?

In the US the Standard Edition is $79.99 and the Ultimate Edition is $99.99. The Ultimate Edition adds in-game vehicles, weapons and clothing on top of the base game.

When can I pre-load GTA 6?

Pre-loading opens on 12 November 2026, a week before the 19 November launch. Boxed copies, which hold a download code, go on sale the same day so they can be pre-loaded too.

What do you get for pre-ordering GTA 6?

Every pre-order, Standard or Ultimate, includes the Vintage Vice City Pack. Check your store's listing for its pre-order deadline.
