What happens when the season ends

Season 2 starts on 15 October 2026 and brings Wardogs' first progression wipe: everyone goes back to level 1. It adds four weapons (the TCX-SPR, M14 DMR, PP-19 Bizon and Evo-3 Ultra LMG), four vehicles including a T-72B3 tank and a Flakpanzer Gepard, and rain on every map. Team balance changes too: the Lonestar (blue) team gets cash and XP win bonuses, a team trailing by 40 points or more gets a 20% shop discount, and switching teams is limited once one team leads by more than 10 points. Before the season ends

  • Make the most of your level and unlocks now: Season 2 is a progression wipe that puts everyone back to level 1.
  • Read the Season 2 patch notes on Steam when Bulkhead posts them, for exactly what is wiped and what is kept.
  • Expect team switching to be limited once a team leads by more than 10 points, so pick your side before the match tips.
  • If you play Lonestar (blue), Season 2 adds cash and XP win bonuses for your team.

Not yet. Wardogs is on PC through Steam Early Access. Bulkhead has confirmed PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions for 2028, without a month.
