Stuck at the same MMR this patch?
An experienced Dota 2 player can finish the climb or the grind for you, played by hand with Appear Offline on, while you follow progress in your dashboard.
What happens when the patch ends
Dota 2 does not reset ranks on a schedule: your MMR and medal carry over from patch to patch. What changes with a big patch is the game itself (heroes, items and map), and rank confidence can move more after long breaks. Recalibration only happens when Valve announces it.
Before the patch ends
- Climb on the heroes that are strong in the current patch before they are changed.
- Keep your behaviour score high so ranked stays open to you.
- Clear any low priority games before you queue ranked.
