ARC Raiders Trials Explained: Stars, Ranks, Rewards and Season 6

How ARC Raiders Trials work: the five weekly objectives, star thresholds, how rank is decided, Season 6 dates and rewards, and how to score higher.

Published 7 min read

Quick answer

Trials are five weekly objectives in ARC Raiders, such as damaging ARC with a named weapon or searching a type of container. Your best score on each counts once you extract, and 1,000, 2,000 and 3,000 points earn one, two and three stars. The five best scores add up to your rank. Season 6, Frozen Trials, runs from 8 October 2026 to 12 January 2027.

How Trials work

Trials are five objectives that change every week, and you score them by doing that objective in a normal raid and getting out alive. Your best single-raid score on each objective is what counts, so one good run beats five average ones. This guide covers Trials in ARC Raiders Season 6, Frozen Trials, which Embark runs from 8 October 2026 to 12 January 2027.

Embark's own Season 6 post confirms the dates and the rewards. The scoring numbers and rank rules below come from the community wiki and trackers, which agree with each other on the points listed here. Where they disagree, this guide says so.

How a week plays out:

Step What happens
Unlock Trials open at Raider level 15, according to the community wiki and trackers
Pick Five objectives are live for the week, for example "damage ARC enemies using a Rascal" or "search kitchen cabinets"
Play Do the objective in any raid it applies to. Some objectives are tied to one map
Extract The score from that raid is added when you extract. If you die, that raid's progress is lost
Keep the best Only your best raid on each objective counts. Separate raids don't add together

The practical rule for your next raid: pick one of the five, bring exactly what it asks for, and plan your extraction before you start farming points.

Stars and milestones

Each objective has three milestones:

Stars Points on one objective
One star 1,000
Two stars 2,000
Three stars 3,000

Each milestone gives an item reward once per objective per week, claimed automatically when you extract. In Season 6 there is no cap on an objective's score, so points past 3,000 still count toward your rank.

Some older guides list 2,500 and 4,000 points for two and three stars. Current trackers use 1,000, 2,000 and 3,000, so check the in-game milestone bar if you are unsure.

What the objectives look like

Objectives fall into a few repeating types:

  • Damage with a named weapon or item. Season 6 objectives have included the Stiletto, the Rascal, the Bully Fragmenter and the Blaze Grenade. The objective only counts hits from that item, so carry it as your main weapon, not as a backup.
  • Damage a type of ARC. Ticks, Pops and Fireballs, or flying ARC. Go where those spawn and leave the bigger fights alone.
  • Search a container type. Kitchen cabinets, backpacks or Husks. This is the safest score to farm on a quiet loot route.
  • Map-tied objectives. Some only count on one map, such as searching Husks on Pendola Pass, Season 6's new map.

Embark's Season 6 post names Skulker Targeter, Bully Fragmenter and Pendola Pass scavenging among the season's new challenges.

Before you load in, open the Trials tab and check which map each objective needs. Queuing into the wrong map for a map-tied objective wastes the whole raid.

How your Trials rank works

Your rank is decided by the total of your best scores on all five objectives. Raiders are grouped into divisions of about 100 players, and at the end of each week your position in the division moves you up, keeps you where you are or moves you down.

The ranks, from the community wiki and trackers:

Rank Tiers
Rookie I, II, III
Tryhard I, II, III
Wildcard I, II, III
Daredevil I, II, III
Hotshot One tier
Cantina Legend The top 1,000 players

What the community sources agree on:

  • You start a season low. New Raiders start at Rookie I, and the wiki reports that a new season places you two ranks below where you finished.
  • Top players in a division skip ranks. At the low ranks, the top finishers can move up more than one rank in a week. The exact percentages differ between sources, so don't plan around a specific cutoff.
  • A blank week costs you. If you score nothing in a week, you are moved down automatically.

The rank point that matters most: five scores are added together, so lifting your weakest objective from zero to 1,000 helps your rank as much as pushing your best one from 3,000 to 4,000, and it is usually far easier.

Season 6 rewards

Season rewards are cosmetic and depend on the rank you finish the season at. From Embark's Season 6 post:

Reward What it is
Maestro Outfit The Season 6 grand prize
Maestro Yellow and Red colours Unlocked at Hotshot and Cantina Legend
Sheriff Badge Backpack charm
Infrared Transmitter Backpack attachment
Pumped Dance Emote
Pop Helmet Scrappy outfit

The weekly milestone rewards are items, and Embark says they include blueprints and gear. That makes Trials one of the steadier blueprint sources outside containers. The ARC Raiders blueprints guide covers which recipes are worth learning first.

Trials are separate from the Frozen Trail Reward Pass. The pass has its own 60 levels and its own weekly milestones paid in Reward Points, so a star in Trials is not a pass level.

How to score higher

  1. Start with the easiest objective. A container search on a familiar route gets you a first star with little risk, and it banks rank points straight away.
  2. Bring the named item, and only use it. A Rascal objective counts Rascal damage, nothing else. Swap your other gun for something light so you aren't tempted.
  3. Extract early once the score is good. A 2,500-point raid you extract from beats a 4,000-point raid that ends in a knock. Points only count when you get out.
  4. Raise your weakest score. Five scores are added together, so a fifth objective at zero is the cheapest rank gain you have.
  5. Re-search Husks. Players report that Husks can be searched again after another player has opened them, so a contested area still pays on a search objective.
  6. Watch the end-of-round screen. It shows the progress you made that raid, so you know whether a run counted before you queue again.

Don't count on a specific map condition doubling your points. Sources disagree on whether Major Map Conditions still give a bonus and how large it is, and Embark hasn't published a number.

When the week resets

Trials change weekly, and community trackers report that Season 6 weeks start on Tuesday. Embark hasn't published an exact reset time, so go by the countdown on the Trials tab rather than a fixed hour.

Season 6 ends on 12 January 2027. Whatever rank you hold then decides which Season 6 cosmetics you keep.

Getting help with Trials

Trials ask for a few good raids every week, and a missed week costs rank. If your schedule doesn't leave room for that, BoostingXP's ARC Raiders Trials boost plays the weekly objectives for you, by hand, aiming for the stars and rank you choose. The ARC Raiders page lists the level, blueprint, quest and workbench services too.
