Overwatch 2 Placement Boosting: Start From a Better Rank
Placement matches are the competitive games Overwatch uses to decide the rank you start from. A placement boost has them played for you, or with you on the team.
A poor placement costs far more games to climb out of than it took to play, which is why the starting point is worth getting right.
How the Order Is Priced
Placements are sold by the match. You choose how many matches to order and your last known rank, from Bronze to Grandmaster, and the price per match is set by that rank - higher ranks cost more, because the games are harder to win.
What Is and Is Not Promised
Every match you order is played, by hand, to win. A particular rank is not promised: Overwatch sets your placement from the results of those games and your account's history, so two accounts with the same record can place differently.

Choosing How Many Matches to Order
Order the number of placement matches your role still has to play - the competitive menu shows how far that role is from a rank. Ordering fewer is fine if you want to play some of them yourself; the booster plays the ones you paid for, and the rest stay with you.
Your last known rank sets the price per match and tells the booster what level of game to expect. If the role has never been ranked, give the rank of your strongest role, or your Open Queue rank, and say so in the order chat.
Placements for Each Role
Tank, Damage and Support are ranked separately in Role Queue, and Open Queue has its own rank, so each one is placed on its own. A placement order covers the role you choose on this page. Players returning after a long break, or picking up a role they have never played in competitive, are the usual buyers.
After Your Placements
Once the role has a rank, you can carry on yourself, or turn the placement into a target with an Overwatch 2 rank boost. If you are working toward the end-of-season rewards, which are earned through competitive wins, the Competitive Wins service sells wins directly.
Choosing the Right Platform and Region
Placements are played on the platform and in the region you choose on this page. Competitive Overwatch 2 keeps PC and console players in separate ranked pools, so a placement on PC says nothing about your console rank and the other way round. Choose the region where you normally play, so the rank you are given reflects the lobbies you will keep queuing into.
