How does Apex Predator boosting work?
Apex Predator boosting takes an account from Master into Predator, the tier held by the top 750 players on each platform. You choose a target, from Top 750 up to Top 1 Predator, and an experienced Apex player plays the push by hand while tracking your platform's live cut-off, then holds the position until the split ends.
Who it's for: Players who reach Master but lose ground to the RP entry costs at the top, where staying above the cut-off matters as much as reaching it.

How Apex Predator Boosting Works
Apex Predator is not a rank you reach by passing a fixed points threshold. It is a leaderboard position: only the top 750 players on each platform hold it at any moment. That single detail is what makes Predator different from every other rank in Apex Legends, and it is why players who comfortably reach Master can still stall for an entire split short of the badge.
At BoostingXP you choose how high the push goes: Top 750, Top 300, Top 100, Top 10 or Top 1 Predator. The team includes 37 boosters who have each held the #1 spot on an Apex Predator leaderboard, and as of September 2026 BoostingXP has completed 7 Top 1 Predator orders for clients.
How the Predator Cutoff Actually Works
Apex runs a separate ranked ladder for each platform, and the top 750 is counted per platform. A PC player is competing against a completely different set of players than a PlayStation or Xbox player, and the cutoffs are frequently thousands of RP apart. This is why the same push can take very different amounts of time depending on where your account plays.
Because the cutoff moves, a Predator push is a race against everyone else pushing at the same time. The RP total that was enough on a Tuesday can be short by Friday, so boosters track the live cutoff for your platform and play the volume needed to clear it, rather than aiming at a number that was accurate last week.
Predator Targets You Can Order
| Target |
What it means |
| Top 750 Predator |
Entry into the Predator tier on your platform: the Predator badge itself. |
| Top 300 Predator |
A place in the top 300, which means holding more RP than most of the Predator field. |
| Top 100 Predator |
A top-100 leaderboard position, where the RP gap between places widens. |
| Top 10 Predator |
A top-10 finish, played against the strongest accounts on the platform. |
| Top 1 Predator |
The #1 spot on your platform's leaderboard. Best planned before the split starts. |
What Separates a Predator Push From a Rank Boost
- The target moves: the cutoff rises as other players climb, so pushes are timed rather than open-ended.
- RP entry costs at Master and above mean low-placement games cost more than they return.
- Lobbies come from the smallest player pool in the game, so queue times lengthen and the same squads come back.
- Platform decides the difficulty far more than your starting RP does.
- Predator is held, not earned once: dropping out of the top 750 means dropping out of the tier.
Timing Your Push Within the Split
Ranked resets each split, and the cutoff behaves differently across one. Early on, few players have banked enough RP and the threshold sits low. It climbs steadily and is at its highest in the closing days, when everyone chasing the badge is pushing at once.
That means an early-split push is usually faster than the identical push attempted in the final week. If you want Predator for a specific split, starting sooner is the single biggest factor in how long it takes. Below Master? Start with an Apex rank boost to Master, then push from there.
Playing With the Booster Instead of Handing Over the Account
Predator lobbies are the best place in Apex to learn end-game rotation, zone timing and when a fight is worth taking, because at that level almost nobody takes an unnecessary third-party fight. Playing alongside the booster keeps your account in your own hands and turns the push into coaching you can apply afterwards.
It is slower than a straight carry, since both players have to perform, and it is arranged on request for Predator orders. If learning is the main goal rather than the badge, Apex Pro Play books a pro by the hour instead.
Account Safety on a Predator Order
- Manual gameplay only: no cheats, scripts, bots or automated tools.
- Appear Offline is included free, so the push is not visible on your friends list.
- A VPN matched to your region, so logins come from where you play.
- Boosters keep social interaction on the account to a minimum and do not reply to messages.
