VALORANT Unrated Boosting: Matches With No Rank at Stake
An unrated boost plays a number of unrated matches on your account, or with you in a duo. Unrated results do not move your competitive rank, so nothing on your ranked record is at stake.
Why Players Order It
The most common reason is a new account. Competitive only unlocks at account level 20, and account level comes from the XP earned by playing matches - so a fresh account needs a lot of games before it can queue ranked at all. Players also use unrated matches to warm up, or to have a booster play agents they want to see played well.
What You Order
You choose a number of matches, and the price is the same per match whatever your rank. The order is counted in matches played, not wins: boosters play every match to win, but unrated boosts do not promise a win count.
Unrated or Placement Boost?
Unrated comes first on a new account - it builds the account level that unlocks competitive. Once competitive is open, your first competitive games are placements, and that is where a placement boost takes over.
Order Options
- Priority Order - top of the queue, completed at double the standard speed
- Play with Booster - play the matches yourself, with the booster in your party
- Streaming - a private stream link to watch the matches
- Appear Offline - included free and on by default
Unrated on the Way to Competitive
Most unrated orders are for new accounts working toward level 20, when Competitive unlocks. Once it does, the Placement Boost can take the placement matches that set your first rank.
