Camo challenges track differently inside the battle royale playlists than they do in standard multiplayer, and that difference is the whole reason this is a separate service. Warzone gives you longer engagement distances and far more players per match, which suits some requirements and works against others.
The catch is the format. A Warzone match ends when you go down, so a run that was building well can stop with the challenge half-finished and nothing carried over. BoostingXP Warzone camo boosting puts that volume on an experienced player instead.
With Modern Warfare 4 the Warzone track is Parallax, Damascus Reforged and Empyros, earned in that order. MW4 weapons come to Warzone with Season 1 on 6 November 2026, and orders for this track start then.
Distance is the easy part - longshot requirements that are awkward on multiplayer maps come naturally in the open. What Warzone takes away is repetition. Multiplayer gives you a new life every few seconds; here a death means a lobby, a queue and a new drop before the next attempt, so the same challenge costs far more real time even when it is technically easier.
Loadout access matters as well. The weapon you need progress on has to survive contact with whatever the lobby is running, which is why the route works better on some guns than others.
If your time already goes into Warzone, having the camo progress happen there keeps everything in the mode you play. Each MW4 mode has its own mastery camos, though, so order the mode whose camo you want - the related services above go to the Multiplayer and DMZ tracks, so you can compare before ordering.
